Steve Martin has had a remarkable career spanning decades. He rose to fame in the 1970s as a stand-up comedian, known for his witty humor and banjo-playing skills. Martin transitioned to acting, starring in iconic films like “The Jerk,” “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles,” and “Father of the Bride.”, and his latest TV show, “Only Murders in the Building”. His comedic talent and charisma earned him critical acclaim and numerous awards. In this lecture we will look at Martin’s career, focusing on his acting in films and television as well as his music, writing, and Broadway performances.
